Salón de Frankfurt: Seat Leon Cupra R
Hace un tiempo habíamos analizado y resaltado las cualidades del Seat León Cupra 2009, un deportivo con diseño innovador y llamativo, pero que contaba con un nivel de consumo y emisiones de dióxido de carbono que para muchos puede ser muy alto.
Es por ello que la compañía Seat, perteneciente al grupo Volkswagen, ha decidido reformar a este coche y comenzó a trabajar en lo que hoy, luego de un arduo desarrollo, podemos conocer como Seat Leon Cupra R.
Este coche se sumará a las grandes novedades que han preparado para galardonar el Salón de Automóviles de Frankfurt, acompañado del nuevo Volkswagen Polo, y el Skoda Superb Combi, entre otros.
El significado del nombre de este coche combina las palabras Cup Racing, para Cupra, y la letra R como indicador de mayor potencia, algo que se puede apreciar a la perfección en el motor TSI de 2.0 litros con 265 CV de potencia, 25 CV más que su predecesor.
Entre otras cualidades, este coche permite acelerar de 0 a 100 en 6.2 segundos, y alcanza un consumo de combustible de 8.1 litros cada 100 kilómetros, siendo controlado a la perfección con su transmisión manual de seis velocidades.
Es considerado por muchos una verdadera belleza española en materia de diseño y mecánica.
