Buscando brindar una solución a esto fue que el gobierno español creó el Plan 2000E, que beneficiaba con un descuento de 2000 euros a aquellos coches que cumplían un estándar de emisiones de gases contaminantes, aportando una cifra total de 100 millones de euros que ayudaron a retirar de la circulación a turismos, todoterrenos e industriales.
La reactivación del mercado que generó esto ha motivado a que las patronales Aniacam y FACONAUTO emitan un nuevo comunicado buscando que el Gobierno Español reanude este plan que ha dado más beneficios que pérdidas.
El Ministro Sebastián ha indicado que los costos que ha generado el funcionamiento de este plan sólo representan un 10% y se recuperarán en un plazo indefinido gracias a impuestos.
Respecto a las patronales del mundo automotor, han estimado ganancias de hasta 600 millones en concepto de beneficios sociales e ingresos para el sector, números muy alentadores.
Por el momento no hay nada confirmado, pero considerando que el 10% del empleo de España está concentrado en la industria automotor, seguramente sea considerada esta petición.
