Mitsubishi apuesta por los eléctricos con el i-MiEV
El mercado automotor está buscando la reactivación enfocandose en el desarrollo de energías limpias, luego de ver el éxito de compañías como Tesla o Fisker, o la sorprendente aceptación que tiene el HPV oriental, el Toyota Prius.
Es por ello que una nueva compañía que se suma a esto es Mitsubishi, quien anunció comenzar con la producción del eléctrico Mitsubishi i-MiEV, planeando comercializarlo en todo el mundo si es que éste tiene un gran nivel de ventas en zonas cercanas.
La idea de la compañía, además, es que luego de la fabricación masiva del mismo, se comience a comercializar en Julio en Japón, y luego de analizar el nivel de ventas que logre, expandirlo hacia otros países.
En cuanto a sus especificaciones técnicas, podemos destacar que con sus potentes motores eléctricos permite alcanzar la velocidad máxima de 130 kilómetros por hora, pudiendo ofrecer con ésta un recorrido máximo de 160 kilómetros.
Además de ello, cuenta con baterías de ion-litio de alta capacidad, que se cargan al máximo en aproximadamente media hora, gracias a un cargador de alta velocidad incluido con el coche.
El precio estimado para la venta corporativa en Japón (ya que recién en 2010, y si todo marcha bien, se abrirá la venta al público) es de unos 22.000 euros, descontando los descuentos que aporta el gobierno por tratarse de un coche híbrido.
