Con la creciente crisis financiera que golpea duramente a las grandes compañías productoras de automóviles, es moneda corriente que las noticias sean referidas a cierre de plantas de producción, despidos masivos y el cierre de concesionarios o la no renovación de sus contratos.
Pero la noticia sorprendente del día es que la compañía Mazda parece estar en un mundo aparte, y anunció que planea abrir en el transcurso del año cien concesionarios, luego de haber inaugurado ya 25 en lo que fue el primer trimestre del 2009.
De esta manera, la cantidad de concesionarios oficiales que ha alcanzado la firma llegó a la cifra de 2.000, un número más que considerable si tenemos en cuenta la cantidad de empleados que puede poseer.
Por parte de la compañía, anunciaron que desde su desembarco en Europa no registran más que crecimientos, algo que se vio reflejado en el 2007 con la apertura de 28 concesionarios, y la ampliación de estos en el año 2008, con 56 concesionarios más.
Además de ello, Philip Waring, director de Mazda Motor Europe, elogió este amplio crecimiento comercial, que logró aumentar la aceptación de la marca de un 0.9% en el 2001, hasta un 1.6% en el año pasado.
