La noticia del día es que se encuentran trabajando para la creación de un motor híbrido de muy altas prestaciones, para equipar al Honda Fit y al Honda CR-Z, logrando una alta velocidad.
Si todo sale como han planeado, para Febrero del 2010 estarán comercializando las ediciones híbridas de estos coches, que se sumarán a las ya existentes del Honda Insight y el Honda Civic Hybrid.
Estarán integrados con un motor a batería de 13 CV, que contará con el sistema de recuperación de energía cinética de la des-aceleración del coche.
Si bien no hay cifras oficiales, se estima que el Honda Fit híbrido tendrá un costo cercano a los 16.000 euros.
