El turno de esto último le ha llegado a Chrysler, una compañía con una amplia trayectoria en el mercado mundial al que ha tomado la drástica decisión de eliminar entre su plantilla a nada más y nada menos que 789 concesionarios.
De esta manera, se estará reduciendo lo que aproxima al 25% del total, acarreando unos 2392 puestos de trabajo menos, justificandose en que de esta manera se evitará la bancarrota de la compañía.
La medida tendrá finalización el 9 de Junio, cuando ya se habrán mandado todos los telegramas anunciando el despido de los desafortunados empleados.
Pero según palabras del vice presidente de ventas de la compañía, Steven Landry, “no se espera que cierren los concesionarios, ya que aproximadamente el 83% de éstos tiene mayor número de ventas de automóviles usados que los coches nuevos”
